Come to this amazing garden to feel the calm and tranquility that has been created through purposeful design of rocks, water, and plants. Anderson Japanese Gardens has been rated one of North America’s highest quality Japanese gardens for more than a decade. 12 acres of landscape comprised of winding pathways, meandering streams, koi-filled ponds and plunging waterfalls. Master craftsmanship and 16th century tradtional architecture are found throughout the gardens.

Lunch:

After our walking tour, we’ll stop at the garden’s restaurant, Fresco. It’s a beautiful setting tucked within the garden, featuring large windows to continue enjoying the garden, and a selection of healthy, fresh options for lunch. Please note that lunch cost is on your own.

Times

We meet at 10:00 am and proceed to the visitor center to buy our entrance tickets. Lunch will be around 12:15. We hope to finish at about 1:30 pm

Weather

We have fun in all kinds of weather, so we rarely postpone.  If we do cancel a hike, you will receive an email before 8am on the day of your hike.

Cancellations

If you desire to cancel your day hike, you can reschedule for a different hike within the same season:

  1. Please email hello@trailboundtrip.com, and state your name, and desired new hike day.

  2. You will receive confirmation for this new day hike if there is room on the trip.

Refunds

Refunds are given when Trailbound Trips cancels a hike. Trailbound Trips will cancel and refund a hike for two reasons:

  1. There needs to be a minimum of three people.  You will be notified 24 hours in advance if this is the case.

  2. The weather is dangerous or not bearable. You will be notified before 8 a.m. on the day of the hike via email.
