Enjoy rare native plants, gentle rolling hills, and the rippling waters of Dixie Creek, alongside sculpted glacial kames, a fen, and dry hill prairie. Delight in cheerful birdsong and the presence of majestic trees—this preserve boasts incredible old burr oaks with rugged bark and long, gnarly branches. A true seasonal treat, especially in spring, when the rich, open ecological space comes alive.

Discussion Starter Question

Nature is brimming with displays that evoke confidence: An enourmous tree stretching straight and tall. A carefully constructed bird’s nest or spider’s web. Consider on our walk what brings you confidence and pride in your own life.

Together, we will find examples of nature’s pride.
