Deer Grove West on April 2nd, 2024
What to expect: Deer Grove West is heavily wooded, and has a ravine with a winding creek that makes you wonder if you are in Illinois. We will take a dirt trail following the creek for 1/2 our time, and then loop around the ravine to return to the pavilion. Optional after hike will be walking down the steep hill to look for the spring arrival of the magnificent wood ducks.
Your hiking boots will most likely get muddy on this spring day.
New Waiver needed: A new waiver will need to be filled out for this season. If you did not upload one online, I will have paper copies ready in the Pavilion. Everyone will must complete a new waiver every year.
