What to expect:
A new trail for Trailbound, it is also recognized as one of the top 5 trails by the “Friends of the Forest Preserve.” Our trail begins at Harms Woods and takes us along the scenic North Branch trail into the serene Glenview Woods. Here, we walk along well-established dirt paths that closely follow the North Branch of the Chicago River, then loop further out into the deeper sections of the woods. During the fall season, the trail offers an abundance of color, showcasing mature witch hazel, maples, and oaks, creating a truly picturesque hiking experience.
