A peaceful oasis within the suburbs, Wright Woods has 750 acres to buffer us from the suburbs. With the mature oak, maple trees and Des Plaines river, it is a delight to the senses. Our favorite park of this hike is the bountiful variety of spring wildflowers. This is a hike to enjoy the morning sparkles on the water, wander through the trees, listen for the migrating birds, and celebrate the spring colors.
