Terrain
We will begin at Keystone Road Landing and take out at Pioneer Road Landing. Most of the creek is very calm and shallow, with possibly one very small rapid.
Join us for a new perspective on wildlife, from the water! Kayaking down the Nippersink, the largest tributory into the Fox River. Our starting point will be Keystone Road Landing and we will begin meandering through Glacial park paddling our way along the prairies and farmland. Our pull out point is Pioneer Road Landing. Limited to 10 people for safety.
Solo kayak rental is $45.00. Bring your own if you have one.

We meet at 8:45 am, use washroom and get set up with kayaks.

Weather
We will not kayak in the rain. If it is a rainy morning, or the water level is too low, you will receive an email by 7am to cancel and receive a refund.
Driving Directions
Address: 6500 Keystone Road, Richmond, IL . This is where we will put in our kayaks. and pick up our rentals at 8:45.
I will meet 4 volunteers at 8:15 at Pioneer Landing to leave their cars there, and give them a ride to Keystone Landing, so that we will have those cars when we finish our paddle, and give us a ride back to the starting point.

Cancellations
You can get a refund for your kayak trip if I can find someone else to take your place.
Please email hello@trailboundtrip.com, and let me know you would like to cancel.
Refunds
Refunds are given when Trailbound Trips cancels a hike. Trailbound Trips will cancel and refund a hike for two reasons:
There needs to be a minimum of five people. You will be notified 24 hours in advance if this is the case.
The weather is dangerous, ie. lightning or a major storm, or the water is too low. You will be notified before 7 a.m. on the day of the hike.
