Terrain
Hilly shorepath of Lake Geneva varies between grass, dirt, brick, stairs, and stepping stones.
The Lake Geneva Shorepath is truly a bucket list trail that should not be missed! Take on the Trailbound challenge this fall and enjoy a scenic 7-mile hike from Williams Bay all the way to Lake Geneva. This beautiful path meanders alongside historic estates as well as some stunning new homes, allowing you to be inspired by their exquisite landscaping while also soaking in the beautiful views of Lake Geneva. The entire hike will take approximately 3 hours at a comfortable pace. After finishing the trail, we plan to have lunch in Lake Geneva, and then finish shuttling cars back to Williams Bay. Total time approx. 8:30am - 2:00pm
Washroom
There is a restroom at the start of the hike, an outhouse during the hike, and a restroom at the restaurant at our finish.

Emergency Medical Information form filled out (this is kept in your backpack, and only accessed in emergencies)
Lunch
Lunch will be at Oakfire Restaurant on the lake.
Times
We will begin our hike from Williams Bay, where free parking is offered. Our hike will begin at 8:30am and end at the restaurant near 11:30.

Weather
We have fun in all kinds of weather, so we rarely postpone. If we do cancel a hike, I will email you the evening before our hike.
You Will Learn
We will learn about the history of some of the estates along the walk.
Driving Directions
We will all meet at the Williams Bay free parking lot to begin the hike.

2 people will arrive early to park cars at the free parking in Lake Geneva at Sage Street parking.

Cancellations
If you desire to cancel your day hike, you can reschedule for a different hike within seven days:
Please email hello@trailboundtrip.com, and state your name, and desired new hike day.
You will receive confirmation for this new day hike if there is room on the trip.
Refunds
Refunds are given when Trailbound Trips cancels a hike. Trailbound Trips will cancel and refund a hike for two reasons:
There needs to be a minimum of five people. You will be notified 24 hours in advance if this is the case.
The weather is dangerous, ie. lightning or a major storm. You will be notified before 8 a.m. on the day of the hike.
