Trailbound’s new Getaway brings you 2½ days of guided hikes along the most popular and picturesque trails on the park’s western side.
Where you’ll stay
Giant City Lodge — a rustic CCC-built lodge with the classic National Park vibe. Cozy cabins, a roaring fireplace for evening hangouts, and the area’s top restaurant just steps away.
What’s included
2½ days of guided hiking on signature Shawnee routes, chosen for scenery, variety, and photo ops.
Evenings at the lodge: games, storytelling, hot drinks, and good company around the fireplace.
Time to explore nearby farms and vineyards —
Optional add-ons
Horseback riding at a local stable that specializes in “horse therapy riding.” Accessible, impressive equine experiences suitable for many ability levels.
Cancellations & Refunds
You may cancel your Getaway for the Shawnee National Forest with 90 days notice.
If you cancel less than 90 days, a refund will be made if your spot can be filled from a wait list.
